This “Non-stop Abiding” was the lifestyle Jesus & the apostle Paul modeled to us by completely dying to themselves and doing the Father’s Will.
Therefore, this discipleship training is all about becoming one with God (abiding in him) by following the path Jesus walked (1 John 2:6).
This non-stop abiding model of discipleship centers around unceasing prayer and other Spiritual disciplines, training us to truly die to our flesh and fully walk in the Spirit. It is not that we train until we walk in Holy Spirit’s power, but rather we fully acknowledge and submit to him & his work in us, thus growing up into Christ (Eph. 4:15).
